「我看見的，是一群很有韌性、很努力生活做工的人。」坐在莊子儀的店裡，門口對著城中城大樓的後門，從小到大在此長大，創業後看著城中城裡的人們出出入入，莊子儀問我：「如果你過的是那種生活、住的是那種地方，你有辦法跟他們一樣努力活下去嗎？」
當新聞焦點離開，當空氣中的燒焦味散去，住在城中城裡的人們，已被看見了嗎？
四個高雄居民是這集的領路人，聽他們說，他們住過、每天供餐照護、上樓田野調查、或是每天一起生活的那棟樓。他們說，社會裡不幸的原因千千百百種，要走出不幸，第一件事應該是看見彼此吧。
