On Antonio Moresco's The Beginnings (1998, first English translation by Max Lawton from Deep Vellum), William T. Vollmann, and the vast maximalist novel no one can read, with translator and writer Max Lawton. Max has translated Sorokin's novels from Russian, Schattenfroh by Michael Lentz from German, and now this Moresco trilogy.
