Tori Gilbert had followed Jesus for years, but after being baptized in the Holy Spirit, her Christian life became something she says she never knew was possible.

Tori grew up believing in God, heard His audible voice as a child, surrendered her life fully to Jesus at 19, attended Bible college, and even served on the mission field. But after years of following Christ, she found herself asking a difficult question: Is this all there is?

Then she was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Almost immediately, Tori says her desires changed, her relationship with God came alive in a new way, and spiritual gifts she had never experienced began appearing. What started as a few simple syllables while praying in tongues soon became what she describes as an entire language pouring out of her for hours—along with an interpretation and an urgent message from the Holy Spirit for someone she barely knew.

Since then, Tori says she has experienced prophetic words, tongues and interpretation, spiritually significant dreams, supernatural discernment, evangelism, and a completely different understanding of prayer and partnership with the Holy Spirit.
