Sidecar Tommy is a project by drummer, producer, beat-maker, and co-founder of the group Beats Antique. Based in Oakland, Tommy has collaborated with many notable artists including Global Bass band, Beats Antique, The Glitch Mob, Les Claypool, Alam Khan, Bassnectar, Too Many Zooz, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and many others.
During this episode, Tommy and Dan chat about everything from mixing instruments with electronic elements for live performance, how to curate a great show, live streaming, fun touring stories, the importance of having a community, the mental side of producing and performing, and more.
