#14 TCT Hall of Fame | 2018 Induction | Dr Carl Deckard

Our final inductee to the TCT Hall of Fame for 2018, is a man that many feel should have made the cut last year. Fortunately, those protestors got their act together and voted for Dr Carl Deckard, inventor of Selective Laser Sintering, in their droves. After being inspired by a visit to the Henry Ford Museum as a child Carl dreamed of becoming an inventor. Whilst working at an iron-based machine shop, TRW Mission, Carl had his Eureka moment. Dr Deckard reminisces about those good times and some challenging times in this refreshingly open interview.
