His passion for adventure, cultures and the environment have led him to expeditions on all 7 continents, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Sir Edmund Hillary, as well as his father, Peter Hillary, who collectively have nearly 100 expeditions including 3 Everest summits and two polar crossings. This legacy has inspired Alexander to photograph kayaking expeditions in the Antarctic to filming Himalayan ascents.
