Dylan Burns on Fate, Free Will, and Divine Providence

Is the universe deterministic? Do divine forces care about humanity? We find these answers through the ideas of ancient sages like Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, and others — and the views of movements such as the Pre-Socratics, Epicureans, Stoics, early Christians, Hellenistic Jews, and Gnostics. Our exploration will provide insights for modern times, including for such notions as the Simulation Theory.
