Can't Go to a Muslim Country to Seek Knowledge? | #5 Majalis Ilmiyyah | Sh Abdullahi & Sh Tim Humble

Ten years can pass while you are still telling yourself: "One day, I'll properly seek knowledge." You blame the lack of time. Your job. Your family. Where you live. The fact that you cannot travel. Maybe even your weak memorisation.

But then you meet or hear about students with those same responsibilities who somehow learnt Arabic, progressed through the Islamic sciences, and reached the point of teaching others!

So what are they doing differently?

In this Majalis Ilmiyyah episode, Sheikh Muhammad Tim Humble and Sheikh Abdullahi Abdisalam speak directly to students seeking knowledge in the West and other non-Muslim countries, and confront some of the habits and misunderstandings that can quietly leave a student stuck for years.

Why can thirty focused minutes sometimes take you further than hours of scattered study? Why do some students keep jumping from one programme to another without progressing? And what should you do when memorisation becomes so difficult that it starts blocking you from moving forward?

The path may be far more open than you think. But are you approaching it the right way?
