Cultivating Sincerity

“All that matters is Allah’s acceptance.” The Prophet’s great-grandson ﷺ, Sayyidina Ali Zayn al-’Abidin (Adornment of Worshipers), once said to his servant, “Will you carry my sins on the Day of Resurrection?” In this reflection, Ustadh Amjad Tarsin relates this story and other stories of the pious showing that the secret to success is sincerity in one’s intentions and actions, no matter how seemingly insignificant or inconsequential they may appear.
