EPISODE 9 of 'All About Art': The Art World on Clubhouse

Clubhouse is a social media app (with invite and for iOS only) that hosts rooms for live, non-recorded discussions between people on a variety of topics. You can be a speaker and/or a listener. The art world seems to have found its place on the app, with talks about galleries, art markets, museums, art collecting and more.

In this episode, I talk about how the art world presents itself on the app and what the pros and cons are from my perspective. I also offer a more critical analysis of women's voices and gender dynamics in groups while referring to this article: When Women Don't Speak, BYU Magazine 

ABOUT ME:

I am an Austrian-American art historian, curator, and writer. I obtained my BA in History of Art at University College London, and am currently continuing my education at Goldsmiths University with an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy. My specializations include contemporary art, specifically feminism, technology, and artificial intelligence in artistic practice.
