A Plague Comedy from the Middle Ages Finds New Life on Netflix

The 14th century collection of short stories, The Decameron, by Giovanni Boccaccio, isn't obvious inspiration for a Netflix comedy. But creator and showrunner Kathleen Jordan has done just that, creating a dark comedy set in the midst of the Black Plague.
