Writer and musician Franz Nicolay's new book, Band People: Life and Work In Popular Music, highlights the people you might not think of when you think of your favorite bands —the people who comprise the rhythm and horns sections, side-of-stagers, backup singers, and others like them whose stories rarely get told.
