With the release of their debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul were thrust into the mainstream, inspiring an entire generation of young nerds who liked music, art, and fashion. Journalist and author Marcus J. Moore was one of those kids, and he's with us to talk about his new book, High and Rising: A Book About De La Soul, the first comprehensive history of his favorite band.
