What Happened to Nonresistant People During World War I? - Chester Weaver

49 min6 augusti 2026

In 1918, America joined World War I. At that time, there were not options for Mennonites that refused to fight. What happened to the thousands of Mennonite young men that were drafted into the war effort? Chester Weaver tells the stories of the persecution and threats they endured for refusing to take up the sword; two of these men became some of the last Anabaptist martyrs in America.
