Carmen Boulter (Rest in Peace) gave us an epic show, now released from the Archives, she investigates one of ancient Egypt’s greatest unresolved mysteries: the enormous underground labyrinth believed to lie beneath the sands of Hawara.

Ancient writers described a structure of astonishing scale near the pyramid of Pharaoh Amenemhat III, containing thousands of chambers, courts, passages and sacred spaces. Modern surveys have reported unusual features beneath the site, yet excavation remains limited and the full extent of the complex is still unknown.
