Fast-Moving Fire Explodes North Of L.A.

Thousands of Southern California residents are under evacuation orders Wednesday as fire crews battle the out-of-control Hughes Fire near the town of Castaic, a suburb in the foothills and mountains of northern Los Angeles County. Within five hours, the fire grew to more than 8,000 acres, according to officials.
