Pentagon: Airspace Over Ukraine Remains “Contested”

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said the airspace over Ukraine remains “contested” and warned that it “appears as if the Russians are broadening their target set.” A senior U.S. defense official tells CNN that Russian forces haven’t encircled Kyiv yet but they’re trying.
