A.C. Film Club #18 - Pefect Blue

On this episode we revisit a true Anime classic from the legendary Satoshi Kon “Perfect Blue”.

A tense psychological thriller as Mima a former Pop idol decides to  quite music to pursue a career as an actress only to soon find herself  being targeted and an alternative life for her being played out on the  internet. The film would prove a major influence for Darren Aronosky’s  “Black Swan”.

Stephen also brings us a tale from the Asian Cinema darkside as he looks at the life and career of Anita Mui plus much more!!
