Ep. 114: Our Faves Are Problematic

Welcome to the first episode in an unfortunate series about all the ways idols let us down with problematic words and behaviors. Today we will be focusing on specific incidents of anti-blackness that have occurred in Kpop over the past few years. We're talking about everything from colorism in groups, to using slurs and the horrible implications of blackface. We must do more to protect Black fans and listen to their hurts, and we have to do more to encourage our idols to be better. Or else it's time to pack it up. And wouldn't we all rather just see change?
