Carlito's Way (1993)

It’s the lesser-known, though still excellent, Al Pacino gangster film where he plays a recently released Puerto Rican gangster in NY who wants out of the game, he just needs to scrape together the cash to buy his way into his buddy’s tropical rent-a-car biz. It also stars a young John Leguizamo as Benny from the Bronx who’s the next generation of gangsters looking to make a name for themselves. It’s a great movie and we had a great time covering it. You gotta see Sean Penn as a coked up criminal lawyer in this one.
