Oh hi again. Here we are at Episode 9 of Behind the Business. The UK music business podcast where I pick the brains of an eclectic mix of those in all areas of the music business about what they do and why they do it. This episode is with Sam Broadbent. Sam was actually a student of mine during my first full year of teaching and we sat down to talk about his views on education having just finished his time in it as well as the trials and tribulations of someone working tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the creative industries. I was especially keen to find out what life is like as a new business owner. Between recording and releasing this episode the band that Sam speaks about decided to call it a day. Something that all too many artist managers working with developing bands have to deal with. I am hoping to get Sam back on to talk about managing that side of things.
