1.29: Trail Blazin'

A few weeks back (episode 25) we laid out plans for what we're calling "Ingredient Songs", which means we pulled a bunch of song element options from a hat (e.g. theme, tempo, mood, instrumentation) and had to use them to create a new song. This is the first installment from the results of that idea.

Recipe: Trail Blazin'

Start with large mixing bowl, add a tempo of 75 and slowly stir in acoustic guitar, mix until tempo reaches 90, then let sit for 5 minutes. Generously add ambience, mix in slowly until the color is a dark and dusty sepia. Whisk in soft vocals, leave in breaths. Add thinly shaved slide guitar to a heated medium skillet, let melt, then pour in the contents of the mixing bowl. DO NOT OVERCOOK, consistency should be omelette-like. Fold in dry drums and top with distortion, yelling, and revenge. Serve in a cardboard box, and garnish with gravel footsteps.
