Culdesac Tempe is designed to be entirely car-free. And not just for the good of the climate but as a lifestyle choice for people who want to get rid of the hassle and expense of a car-centric existence. But will large numbers of people really choose to ditch their cars altogether? Bloomberg’s Ira Boudway went to Arizona to find out.
