Sonya lives in Western Pennsylvania, just outside the town of Johnstown. When Sonya was 12 years old, she went for a walk in the woods, at a place called Buttermilk Falls, with her father and one of her father’s friends. What happened to them on that walk frightened her father so much, he never went back into the woods again, after that day. What happened that could frighten an avid hunter, like her father, so badly?
