Blood Red: The Liverpool FC Podcast

Liverpool's drop off in quality & why opposition fans won't rate Firmino

38 min • 20 april 2018
The Blood Red podcast is back - but this time without veteran/seasoned/evergreen reporter Ian Doyle.

Instead, it's Joe Rimmer who takes the hosting duties. He is joined by full-time Liverpool reporter (both home and away) James Pearce as well as the impressive new signing Dan Kay.

The lads try their best to put Roma out of their minds to discuss Jurgen Klopp's selection plans against West Brom, there's plenty of talk about ticket prices and safe standing, before Dan and James debate the PFA Team of the Year.

Is Roberto Firmino unlucky to miss out? Dan thinks he is. James isn't so sure. What they can agree on, however, is that Firmino will always be under-rated by opposition fans.

James says Salah is a cert for Player of the Year and Dan coins the phrase "the straw that stirs the drink".

It's another great listen. Enjoy! For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
