And to preview the clash, Reds boss Klopp and his star defender Virgil van Dijk staged a press conference at Anfield. An upbeat Klopp was up first, and he spoke about what all these late crucial goals mean, Liverpool’s development as a European force under his watch, Mohamed Salah, last season’s showdown with Porto, and the latest on the fitness of Joe Gomez and Adam Lallana, among other things.
