Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures are out and the World Cup may be about to kick-off.
But our latest episode of Poetry in Motion with Neil Fitzmaurice is mainly concerned with one thing – transfers.
Yes, who the Reds will be facing in 2018-19, and events in Russia do get a mention, but the bulk of the talk in another unmissable podcast centres on who Jurgen Klopp should sign next.
Fitzy is joined by Joe Rimmer and Dan Kay and they are all in agreement that Klopp should bite the bullet and spend big on a goalkeeper like Jan Oblak.
But if the Liverpool boss prefers to splash most of his transfer kitty elsewhere, Joe offers up a no less high-profile alternative.
The Reds would not be breaking the bank if they moved for Xherdan Shaqiri, and while some supporters have reservations about the Stoke winger, Fitzy and Co have no doubts.
Christian Pulisic, Jamie Vardy and – naturally – Nabil Fekir also get a mention.
And it goes without saying that the lads pay tribute to the newly knighted, Sir Kenny Dalglish.
