Farmer Brothers Co.'s shares are headed for their biggest gain in about two years after a proposed takeover was well received. The coffee supplier agreed to buy Boyd Coffee Co. for cash and preferred shares valued at $59 million. The deal is Farmer's biggest in more than a decade, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
