Impinj Inc.'s shares rose to a record and are headed for their biggest gain this year in response to Amazon.com Inc.'s deal to buy Whole Foods Market Inc. for $13.7 billion. Amazon belongs to a non-profit group that promotes radio-frequency identificationn tags for merchandise, Impinj's specialty. The two companies are co-hosting the group's next meeting, which will take place in Seattle during July.
