Forestar Group Inc.'s shares rose to their highest price since 2014 as a bidding battle for the homebuilder intensified. D.R. Horton Inc. raised its offer for a 75 percent stake in Forestar by $1.50 a share, to $17.75. The move followed two increases this week by another suitor, Starwood Capital, which wants to buy all of the company's stock. Starwood is now offering $16 a share under a deal that Forestar accepted in April.
