Finish Line Inc.'s shares are headed for their biggest daily gain in 15 months in response to an optimistic profit outlook. The athletic-wear retailer said it expects fourth-quarter gross margin, or profit after merchandise costs, to rise from a year earlier. Analysts expected gross margin to be unchanged, based on the average estimate in a Bloomberg survey.
