Flotek Industries Inc.'s shares dropped to their lowest price in almost six years as Hurricane Irma threatened operations in central Florida. The company said its Florida Chemical unit, based in Winter Haven, may have to close temporarily as the storm passes. Flotek is based in Houston, and disclosed late yesterday that Hurricane Harvey and related flooding had a "direct impact" on about 10 percent of its Texas-based staff.
