FSB: 500,000 Businesses In Distress Over Energy Prices (Audio)

Martin McTague, National Chair of the Federation of Small Business, says around a half a million UK businesses are in 'real distress' as energy prices skyrocket. He tells Bloomberg's Caroline Hepker and Stephen Carroll that government help is 'the only way out' for many. McTague was speaking on the day the regulator Ofgem announced that average household energy bills would rise by 80% as the energy price cap is adjusted in October - a cap that doesn't apply to businesses.
