Unite: Port Strike Could Extend Beyond Eight Days (Audio)

Sharon Graham, General Secretary of the Unite Union, says the strike by workers at the UK's largest container port in Felixstowe could extend beyond the planned eight days, if no agreement is reached. She told Bloomberg's Stephen Carroll and Caroline Hepker that the current demand is for a 10% pay rise, up from the port operator's offer of 7% and a £500 bonus. Graham also said that the union has won 80% of the pay disputes it has been involved in over the past year.
