Zoopla: UK Homes Selling At A Discount (Audio)

New figures from the property website Zoopla show that, for the first time in 18 months, the agreed sale prices for UK homes have fallen below asking prices. Zoopla's Executive Director for Research, Richard Donnell, tells Bloomberg's Stephen Carroll and Lizzy Burden that he expects the current 2.4% discount to increase, as demand has fallen by 44% in the past six weeks. Donnell is forecasting that UK property prices will fall by 5% in 2023.
