Prior to that, Ted Alden, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, says China is North Korea's primary trade partner and sanctions will squeeze North Korea's economy to a degree we haven't seen in the past. Michael Nathanson, a senior research analyst at MoffettNathanson, says cable companies may shift the profit they made from TV to profit from broadband. Finally, Oklahoma Representative Tom Cole says the U.S. doesn't want to be provocative but does need North Korea to know it's serious.
