A Most Inconvenient Devotion - Chapter 7 | Fanfiction Adaptation + Discussion

A Most Inconvenient Devotion: an original adaptation of Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love by isthisselfcare — Chapter 7 — Revelations

Draco’s curiosity finally gets the better of him when he discovers the title of Hermione’s fiercely protected ancient grimoire: Revelations. Her furious response follows him from the Ministry to the windswept hills of Uffington, where a suspicious plant, an abandoned tracking ring, and an unfortunate misunderstanding with passing Muggles make their already complicated arrangement even more combustible.

But their quarrel gives way to something far more revealing when Hermione’s protective magic suddenly pulls her across the country in the middle of the night. What begins as confusion leaves Draco confronting just how instinctively she will come to his aid—and how difficult that realization is to ignore.
