Happy International Women’s Day! In this new episode, I’m talking with Abigael, Head of the coexistence project, at Mara Elephant Project in the Greater Mara Ecosystem. Abigael is researching solutions at the Experimental farm whose aim is to build a model for coexistence and ensure a win win for both the local community and the wildlife. We talk through her journey and early career and what drove her to go into agriculture and sustainability. We also dive into the what she does at the experimental farm, the data driven research that goes on there and different research indexes and what that means for the coexistence model that she and her team are looking to build.
