Mulla Saaleh Baseer is currently completing his MA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Chicago while also studying at Darul Qasim.

He holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from Columbia University and an 'alimiyyah degree from Darul Uloom Azaadville in South Africa. His interests include Ottoman and Mughal history.
