Dr Salim Farrar is Senior Lecturer, and Associate Director of CAPLUS at Sydney Law School.

His teaching and research interests are in Islamic Law, Malaysian Law, Law and Development, and Criminal Justice.

Before moving to the Sydney Law School in 2009, he was Associate Professor at the International Islamic University, Malaysia, where he had taught since 2004.
