In May 1536 something no one would have believed possible, happened. A Queen was about to be executed, by beheading, convicted on erroneous charges. Anne Boleyn, who had sat at the May Day Jousts on 1st May was, by the end of the following day, a prisoner in the Tower of London. She would never leave!
