55 letters have been deciphered and then identified as those of Mary, Queen of Scots. Over 50,000 words, from Mary, are now available to be read, analysed and contextualised! In this episode I look at the bits of the newly published paper on these letters which most caught my eye.
The paper is: George Lasry, Norbert Biermann & Satoshi Tomokiyo (2023): Deciphering Mary Stuart’s lost letters from 1578-1584, Cryptologia, DOI: 10.1080/01611194.2022.2160677
