May 26th: What Happens Next? Jesus Sends Us with a Mission – Acts 1| Devotional for Kids | Carpooling with Jesus

In today’s Carpooling with Jesus, the disciples ask Jesus a huge post-resurrection question:
👉 “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel now?” (Acts 1:6 CSB)

They expected Jesus to take over like a powerful king. But instead, Jesus gave them (and us!) a greater mission—to share His love, truth, and forgiveness with the world.

In this episode, kids will discover:

• What the disciples expected Jesus to do after the resurrection

• Why Jesus chose to send them instead of building a throne

• How we’re part of God’s big plan right now—no crowns required!

💡 One Thing for the Ride:
You are part of God’s big plan—right now.

🚘 Car Talk Question:
What’s one way I can be part of God’s plan today—by helping, including, or encouraging someone?
