The presence of a mother and father is important for every child. St. Thérèse was no different. However, as described in today’s reading, she lost her mother at a very young age. Out of this experience, St. Thérèse describes how her sister Pauline stepped into the role of mother and how her father’s love was the greatest witness of God the Father’s love for her. Fr.
