Fasting: Discipleship DNA - Audio

Sunday, February 15, 2026 – Pastor Justin’s message today is “Fasting: Discipleship DNA.” Fasting may not be everyone’s favorite topic. Why? Because it requires something from us. We love experiencing the blessings of God — His peace, His provision, His presence. But are we positioning our hearts to receive all He wants to do in us? Fasting is not about earning God’s grace. Fasting is a response to that grace. It’s a way of quieting the noise of the world so we can hear God’s still, small voice more clearly. It’s choosing spiritual hunger over temporary comfort. The early church embraced fasting as part of their spiritual DNA — and through their obedience, God transformed communities and nations. As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to prayerfully consider: What might God be asking you to lay down? What distraction could you fast from in order to seek Him more fully? Let’s believe together for a life-changing move of God in Charlevoix County — beginning at Center Point and reaching throughout our community.
