Notes:- We don't understand the fundamentals anymore; looking for big play; lost heart & soul- All prayers should be about wanting what God wants; spiritual maturity realized I don't know what I need but trusts God & His will- Sorrows come because we want- Finish your race with joy- Jesus didn't want to go to cross but endured it for the Joy set before Him- God doesn't change; we can't change His mind- Prayer lines us up with His will- Battle against sin won in the garden- Prayer shows faith; God moved when we pray- Live in prayer; cannot stay in prayer closet- Christianity is not imitating Jesus, but letting Jesus live through you- Read the Bible; God doesn't need someone to explain Himself to you, only Holy Spirit- Fortune cookies- Syrians defeated by Israel in hills and plains
