Notes:- He is a consuming fire... consuming all that isn't eternal, holy...- All creation will be shaken... things removed from our lives- God wants us to love nothing besides Him- We still think bad things shouldn’t happen to us- The Lord gives and takes away- He removes what never draws us closer... material earthly things- Nature of materialism is to draw you away from what is spiritual- Stephen, full of the Spirit, gazed... we glance but won’t gaze, still trying to work things out ourselves- It takes time to see the glory of God- Victory comes when in the midst of trouble we can see Jesus and live in forgiveness
