Notes:- Debt ensnares us; affects our feelings of self, marriages and family- We justify spending and ignore stewardship requirements of God- Put in honest day's work and God will take care of the rest- We take nothing out of this world- Count the cost. Have a budget.- There is no honest get rich quick scheme- Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth...- Do your children know what you smell like? (story of father's smell)- People focused on getting more stuff rather than making memories with their children/families- Get out of debt. Owe no man anything.- NT tithing is not out of obligation... give freely.- Offer to God the best.
