Notes:- 2 types of yokes: carrying and pulling... either slows you down- Do not yoke different animals together: believers and unbelievers, religions... the stronger will be damaged by heavier load- Business commitments, marriage- Choose world's yoke or the Lord's- Denominations get between people and Jesus- Come to Him and have rest; you don't have to fight- The church is reverting back to works as in Acts (Jews demanding gentiles follow law)- Religious traditions control people and quench the Spirit of God- By faith in Jesus alone gentiles are acceptable to God; in N.T. there is no Jew or gentile... we are one in Jesus- Gentiles acting like Jews... does not get you closer to God- You don't backslide by smoking or drinking or cursing- People pull others (children etc.)... you cannot carry them...
