The only thing that upset Him was religion getting in between people and God.- Jesus was broken and compassionate towards people living under the curse- I Christianity is not compassionate and broken about sin, we are not the church- If you’re angry at this world, you are not filled with Jesus- People are born in sin without a choice; it will be compassion to bring people to Jesus- People are weighed down with personal failure; God is good and ready to forgive- We talk about the good news, but all people hear is how bad they are- A holy God demands a holy life; if you could stop sinning you wouldn’t need a savior- God put our sins on Jesus that we may come to righteousness in Him- Still not what I ought to be; feel like I should be better... I don’t know who I am but I know who He is.- I’ll never get it right but my salvation is not contingent upon my strength and ability- Hope lies in the fact that He was God’s perfect gift and what He did was eternally sufficient; take your eyes off yourself and look at Jesus- Addiction... God still loves you and will help you.
